This is a group for singles, 45 years and up, that are dog owners, with lots of free time (could be semi-retired or retired) who like, or would like, to stay in shape walking their dogs off-leash in conservation and trail areas like Heber Downs (Whitby), Ajax Dog Park (Ajax), Seaton Trail (Pickering). An informal group for people and their dogs to join together for a fun day of hiking. We meet the last Sunday of each month (unless it's a long holiday in which case an alternative Sunday will be selected). We hike in all but the most severe weather. Call the organizer if you are unsure. Most hikes are easy to moderate and last approximately 5 hours but usually a small group returns after one-two hour of hiking.
