The Outlaws are a group of nature-loving outdoor folks who insist on bringing their dogs along. Why hike if I can't bring my dog? is our question. We hike mostly in Marin county, but sometimes East Bay too. Summer overnights and weekend camping trips to National Forest destinations. Swimming, BBQ, hiking, fetch, fun.

I love dogs! Actually, I love cats, too. In fact, I love animals. Dogs are just so easy to love, but they need special attention and some dogs need more activity than we can give them. I'd like to offer a venue for people to spend time with their furry friends and meet some others people, too. Hiking with our dogs benefits all of us. We like to do afternoon walks/urban hikes mostly on week-ends and then go to happy hour. The goal of this group is to get as many people in the Contra Costa County to leave the couch, get out and hike, bike, walk the beautiful trails that we have around us; hopefully meeting once or twice a month. This group is open to everyone regardless of age and as long as it's allowed friendly dogs are absolutely welcome. We want to select trails that have an average difficulty in order to fit all levels.
