I love dogs! Actually, I love cats, too. In fact, I love animals. Dogs are just so easy to love, but they need special attention and some dogs need more activity than we can give them. I'd like to offer a venue for people to spend time with their furry friends and meet some others people, too. Hiking with our dogs benefits all of us. We'll try to invite a trainer now and then, and make it fun! See you on the trail. Tail wags and belly rubs, Debbie Barnett

Meet other local outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, surfing, etc. This meetup is about enjoying the outdoors with others. I would like others to let me know of activities they would like to see happen and I will help organize. Dog owners are also encouraged to join since there are too few groups that permit dogs at times. All those who are dedicated to outdoor excursions near and far should sign up.

This is a group for fit hikers. While the trails aren't dangerous, they are usually very steep. Trail shoes of some sort will make your hike easier, though hiking boots aren't typically needed. Ideally our hikes will be 1 1/2 - 3 hours long, including significant elevation gain. Ideally at least 1500'+, and be 5-11 miles long. We will hike to the summit, then where possible, and if you want to, run part or all the way back out. Everyone goes at their own pace, we don't wait for slower hikers* …

I decided to start this group for people in-between San Francisco and San Jose. I also have found it difficult to find groups that meet later in the day on the weekends. I'm not a morning person so I like to hike but prefer to go later in the day. During the week--M-F, my ideal time to hike is 9ish and would love to find others who find that this is their ideal time to hike too! I usually hike at Edgewood or Pulgas Ridge. Pulgas allows dogs--I like dogs but don't have one. Edgewood does not all …
